Take a Fresh Look at Your Business.

amyMy journey started in 1992 with my first desk job at a foster care agency. During my three years in this position, I gained valuable skills with reception, dictation transcription, and general administrative skills.

In 1995, I moved to Chester County, Pennsylvania, where I continued to hone my administrative skills and gained the experience of working with a large sales team. With this experience, I was exposed to sales proposals, customer assistance, and development of sales proposals.

By 1996, I had moved on to a Word Processing position for Weston Solutions, a large environmental consulting company in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Over the next eight years working for Weston, I became a self-taught expert in Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, Quark, Front Page, and Corel Draw. I moved from being an entry level Word Processor, to Acting Supervisor of the Word Processing Department. From there, I moved on to the Computer Help Desk gaining MANY technical skills, and finally moved onto Publications Coordinator and Document Manager. During these eight years, I had opportunities to work on multi-million dollar USACE projects, EPA contracts, NASA’s Columbia Space Shuttle Clean-Up project, and finally the Katrina Cleanup effort.

In 2005, I moved to the beautiful Lehigh Valley, PA, where I gained additional experience working with a large engineering firm as a Document Controller, perfecting my organizational skills. By 2006 I had settled into a project assistant position with a prodigious commercial real estate trust. Working for two construction project managers on the construction of warehouses as large as 1 million square feet or $1.1M tenant fit-outs.

Meanwhile, in 2005, as a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group, I began to develop skills in web design by redesigning the GLVWG.org website. I worked with multiple authors to pull together large conference websites. Redesigning this website opened the door to work with a wide range of authors, editors, and the many other occupations members of the group hold. I have consulted many, tutoring them with certain tasks so they can be more self-sufficient, redesigning their websites, or designing them from scratch.
